CENTRE DESIGN MERGES WITH RIVAL TO FORM FUZZWIRE
Workers at a North East firm which makes shopping centre displays have been assured their jobs are safe following a merger with a Yorkshire-based rival that has created a £9m-a-year business. CHRISTMAS MERGER FORMS DISPLAY GIANT
Fuzzwire is the new brand created through a merger of LDJ Design & Display and Centre Design, two of the market leaders in Christmas display. The company will continue to operate from its two design and production sites in Keighley, West Yorkshire and at Prudhoe, Northumberland. It will employ around 130 people. FUZZWIRE: A BRAND NEW NAME IN 3D DESIGN
In a key development for the UK’s 3D design industry, a new company called Fuzzwire is launched today (19 January 2012). Created through the merger of two existing businesses, LDJ Design & Display and Centre Design, Fuzzwire will be the UK’s leading innovator in 3D design.

MAJOR COUP FOR FUZZWIRE WITH FIRST NORTH AMERICAN PROJECT
In 2011 the Fuzzwire (formerly Centre Design) team completed their first major project in North America, with the installation of holiday designs for the Toronto Eaton Centre, Canada's premier shopping destination. The Toronto Eaton Centre is a four-storey mall which stretches for two full city blocks and attracts more than 1 million visitors per week.
